One doctor owner from new; this car is a real time warp. The current octogenarian owner bought the car new in 1969 & has kept it in pristine garage kept order thoughout its entire life. The car is simply in extraordinary condition with 83,000 miles having been covered.
The car is finished in Mercedes DB903 pale blue to the exterior with grey MB Tex to the interior. This is one of the very first made of the series & is impossbile to find in this condition. Under the bonnet the car is in equally good condition with a very tidy & well detailed engine bay. The paint is in very fine order & would respond well to a T cut & polish to bring back its original lustre.
The engine starts instantly in true Mercedes fashion & drive beautifully with plenty of power & seamless gear changes. All original service books & manuals are present along with the original jack & a brand new spare tyre. It would be extremely difficult to find a better one.

The Mercedes-Benz 280SE Hochkühler is a rare and highly sought-after variant of the W111 series of luxury cars produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1961 to 1971.
The Hochkühler, which translates to "high radiator" in German, was distinguished by its vertically oriented grille design, which gave the car a more traditional and classic appearance compared to the Flachkuhler (low grille) model. The Mercedes-Benz 280SE Flachkuhler, also known as the "flat radiator" or "low grille" model, is a rare variant of the W111 series of luxury cars produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1961 to 1971.
The 280SE Flachkuhler was distinguished by its distinctive low, horizontal grille design, which gave the car a sleek and modern appearance. It was also equipped with a range of high-end features, such as power steering, air conditioning, and leather upholstery.
