MG TC Midget 1949

General description : 1949 MG TC Midget

Chassis number: TG8557
Registration number: JNY831

A lovely little MG which has been fully mechanically restored over a several years period by the previous engineer onwer.  The car is well known in MG club circles having attended many MG events.  Since then it has seen light use & has developed a very light patina to the leather making it feel just right.

The car is resplendent in its black paintwork along with a contrasting red leather interior & dash board.  Red door cars & radiator slats complete the ensemble.  The dash contains a full set of the correct instrumentation with the odometer reading 9405 miles since restoration.  The advancing age of the previous owner mean it has covered just 700 miles in the last 10 years.

Freshly serviced & tuned by ourselves the car is presnted in lovely running condition ready for summer motoring.  The beige hood is in good condition although rarely seen in the up position.  A badge bar sports the usual requisite badges including both MG car clubs along with AA & RAC.

The car sits on 4 silver wire wheels shod with new tyres.  In turn these are secured in place with knock off wheel hubs.  A useful luggage rack augments the smaller luggage storage space behind the rear seats.
