We have sourced an exceptional MG Magnette ZB Varitone Saloon. This Swedish supplied MG was first registered in 1957. The first owner held the car for 38 years and we can confirm it has only ever had four owners. The ZB Varitone distinguishes itself from the ZA by a larger 1498 cc engine delivering 68 Hp and the large panoramic rear window and different decorative trim. The MG comes with an extensive record of invoices and correspondence, some dating back over 30 years! In the recent past this MG was restored and mechanically overhauled. Many invoices have been retained relating to the restoration. The lovely bodywork has nicely fitting body panels. The chrome trim and detailing as well as the paintwork is in a fine condition. It has been finished in a really fetching ‘Birch Grey’ with leather ‘Maroon’ interior trim. A truly stunning combination! This is a rather special MG with a fitting provenance.
