General description : Like the idea of owning a classic muscle car, but think better of diving head first into a high-dollar investment that's more garage furniture than street crawler? We've got the classic for you! A ton of time and money was spent making this handsome Oldsmobile one of the best resto-mods on the planet. Wrapping refined black and white aesthetics around a massaged chassis and spry LS2/6-speed athletics, this cool Cutlass is an easy way for any enthusiast to enjoy the collector car hobby. Looking for a well-restored hot rod that's up for roads or cruise-ins? Here's your hot ticket!
DIFFERENT IS GOOD
Benefitting from a ground-up, body-off restoration that transformed a solid driver into a lust worthy resto-mod, this awesome A-Body dresses rich Ebony Black 2-stage in crisp, 442-style striping! At the front of the car's tasteful body, a blacked out Rocket emblem joins a sculpted bumper and clear parking lamps to lead 'LS2' branded 442 grilles and black-trimmed headlights. Behind those grilles, a stainless-trimmed Cutlass hood flows to a stainless-trimmed greenhouse, which is reflected in body-matched sport mirrors. At the sides of that glass, a stainless-lined profile is devoid of everything but factory marker lamps and traditional door handles. And at the back of that profile, a second impressive bumper centers detailed tail lamps between a stylish 'OLDSMOBILE' script and polished exhaust tips.
MODERN GM POWER
Lift the car's vent-free hood and you'll find the forerunner to virtually all the technology still featured in Chevrolet sports cars: GM's potent LS2 small block. In stock form, under the hood of a Trailblazer SS, the rowdy mill utilizes 364 cubic inches to twist buff 10.9 to 1 compression into an even 400 horsepower and 400 lb./ft. of Oak-shaking torque! Up top, customized fuel rail covers feature appropriate GM Performance Division badging. Up front, a remote air cleaner funnels wind through bright tubes, which reflect a lightweight radiator that's fitted with large SPAL puller fans. At the sides of the block, Hooker LS exhaust manifolds ensure all this from-the factory performance stays from-the-factory reliable. High quality PSI engine management ensures everything communicates as it should. And, aesthetically, the aluminum mill looks fantastic centered in niceties like plastic fenders, custom Ebony coil covers and an Optima gel cell battery.
AFTERMARKET ATHLETICS
That small block is trailed by a trusty ZF 6-speed, which spins a heavy duty 10-bolt axle that's fitted with a choice posi-traction differential. That pumpkin pushes a masterfully massaged suspension that's been augmented with Detroit Speed coil-overs, Detroit Speed sway bars and Detroit Speed control arms. Solid stops are provided by 6-piston Baer calipers, which clamp 14-inch drilled and slotted rotors. Easy turns come courtesy of lucid power steering. Under the Satin Black floors, a custom exhaust shuttles spent gases through an X-shaped crossover and throaty Magnaflow mufflers. And everything rolls on 18-inch Bonspeed blades, which lap 275/35ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As in front of 295/35ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As.
CLASSIC VIBES
Decked in timeless style, this Cutlass's tasteful interior is a perfect place to cruise the day away! Seating is provided by plush factory thrones. Cut-pile carpet centers a short shifter between large kick speakers and pliable door panels that front quick power windows. In front of that shifter, a customized dash founds crisp Dakota Digital telemetry next to modern Pioneer audio and Vintage Air Gen IV climate control. And the driver spins a leather-wrapped Lecarra steering wheel around a tilting Flaming River column.
Restored, reliable and ready to roll, this brilliant Olds is guaranteed to please even the most discerning classic car enthusiast. Looking for awesome top-tier muscle that you can actually drive and enjoy? Look no further than this cool Cutlass!

About Oldsmobile
Ah, Oldsmobile, the very name conjures up images of classic American automobiles and the open road. Let's embark on a leisurely journey through the annals of automotive history with this venerable brand.

Our story begins in 1897 when a man named Ransom Eli Olds founded the Olds Motor Vehicle Company. He wasn't the first to build cars, but he was a pioneer in mass production techniques. In 1901, Oldsmobile introduced the "Curved Dash" Olds, widely considered one of the first mass-produced automobiles in the United States. It was simple, reliable, and affordable, making it accessible to the masses.

Fast forward a few decades to the 1930s, and we encounter one of Oldsmobile's most iconic creations, the Oldsmobile Rocket 88. This was a car that not only looked cool with its sleek design but also packed a punch under the hood. The Rocket 88 featured a powerful V8 engine, earning it the nickname "the first muscle car." It was a true American classic, a car that epitomized the spirit of the open road and the freedom of post-war America.

As we approach the 1950s, Oldsmobile continued to innovate. The Oldsmobile Fiesta, introduced in 1953, was notable for being one of the first cars to feature a fully wraparound windshield, a design feature that would become a hallmark of the era. It also showcased the brand's commitment to luxury and style.

But perhaps the zenith of Oldsmobile's excellence came in the 1960s with the Oldsmobile 4-4-2, a car that was both sporty and practical. The 4-4-2 stood for 4-barrel carburetor, 4-speed manual transmission, and dual exhausts. It was a muscle car for those who wanted power without sacrificing comfort. It was the embodiment of the American muscle car era.

Then there was the Oldsmobile Cutlass, a car that became an American institution. It was a family sedan, a sports car, and a luxury car all rolled into one. The Cutlass was reliable, comfortable, and versatile, making it one of the best-selling cars in American automotive history.

Sadly, as the years went by, Oldsmobile faced challenges, and the brand that had once been a symbol of American automotive innovation and excellence ceased production in 2004. It marked the end of an era.

But the legacy of Oldsmobile lives on in the hearts of car enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone who appreciates the classic American automobile. It's a brand that gave us some of the most iconic cars in automotive history, a brand that embodied the American dream of freedom, mobility, and style.

So here's to Oldsmobile, a name that will forever be associated with the golden age of American automobiles and the enduring spirit of adventure on the open road.
