General description : 1980 Peugeot 504 cabriolet

True to tradition, Peugeot worked with the Italian designer Pininfarina for their more exclusive models. In the spring of 1969, the Peugeot 504 Coupé and Cabriolet first appeared by the master. Technically the less exotic 504 Sedan served as a basis, but the wheelbase was shortened to 2.55 meters. Motor both four and six cylinders were used ranging from a 1.6 liter to a 2.7 liter. The production of the drive and the chassis of both models took place at the Pininfarina factory in Turin. From there, the semi-finished products were transported by train to the Peugeot factory in Sochaux where the further assembly took place.
