Peugeot Other 1924

General description : 1924 Peugeot Quadrilette TorpedoChassis number: 0006510
Registration number: To be Advised.

Vintage and Prestige Fine Motor Cars are proud to be offering this 1924 Peugeot Quadrilette Torpedo for sale. This Peugeot Quadrilette was purchased by the current owner in 2008 and treated to an exhaustive 'body-off' restoration at vast expense the following year, as evidenced by invoices on file totalling over €80,000.
Works undertaken included a complete overhaul of the engine, transmission/body and an interior re-trim. A starter motor, alternator and lighting have been added, the latter required to pass the German Tuff test. The Peugeot Quadrilette Torpedo comes with a history file containing a Peugeot 'Type 5 handbook 'La Quadrilette Peugeot' brochures, two period photographs, sundry restoration invoices and photographs, and German Fahrzeugbrief.
The Peugeot Quadrilette Torpedo, needless to say is in utterly stunning condition throughout. The striking teal blue paintwork is set off beautifully by the myriad of polished brass fittings festooned all over the car. The Body finishes ‘Trefle’ style in a delightful "Cul De Poule" boats tail which loosely translated is "chickens Bottom." To the interior is black hide throughout and varnished wood floor boards. A useful mohair hood easily erects to cover proceedings. The hood may be employed fully down, half up or all the way up so we suppose we may accord it the status of a three position drop head. The Peugeot Quadrilette Torpedo is a delight to drive and draws smiles as well as admiring glances in equal numbers. Under the bonnet the Peugeot Quadrilette Torpedo  is beautifully detailed with its fully rebuilt engine firing up instantly and providing good forward motion whilst not overtaxing any speed cameras.
A useful luggage rack is fitted to the rear and there is storage behind the two front seats. These cycle cars are delightful contraptions to take down leafy lanes in the summer and to find a better one would be hard. There are a mass of bills with the Peugeot Quadrilette Torpedo from noted German restorers, Fusco Automotive. Our limited grasp of German is usually restricted to ordering beer so we are unable to help with translation, but suffice to say they are full and comprehensive.……………………………………..
