Pontiac Catalina 400 CID V8 4 Speed Automatic $49,995 1961

General description : For sale in our Detroit Showroom is this beautiful 1961 Pontiac Catalina Convertible. This 1961 Catalina has been treated to a full frame off restoration which was completed in 2011 and has just about 1,500 miles since the completion. The frame started in near mint condition and was blasted to bare metal and refinished leading to installation of all new suspension, brake parts including all of the brake lines, and a new fuel tank and fuel lines. The engine is a 1972 Pontiac 400 that has been bored .30 over and has all new internal parts including a mild cam upgrade. The heads are 7K3 which were completely rebuilt with new valves and guides and the Tri-Power setup was completely rebuilt as well before being installed. The transmission is a 700R4 which is also newly rebuilt and is followed up by a posi traction rear end containing 3:23 gears. The exterior is coated in a beautiful Maroon Red Candy Pearl which is aperfect match to the tri-colored interior. The interior has bucket seats from a 1962 Catalina including the console, floor shifter, and carpeting, the custom steering wheel was refinished, and the vinyl seats were re-done right down to repainting the frames and replacing of the padding. Finishing up the exterior work all of the stainless has been polished and all of the chrome has been re-plated, the convertible top is new and also has a new motor, pump, cylinder, hoses, and a new boot. No expense was spared on the restoration of this beautiful Pontiac convertible leaving nothing left to do but enjoy a drive with the top down with every chance that you get.
