Pontiac Firebird 6.6 V8 1975

General description : The expert will immediately notice this is a Pontiac Firebird Formula. That double air-inlet on the hood was reserved for Formula edition of the 1975 Pontiac Firebird. According to the old American adage “there is no substitute for cubic inches”! That certainly goes for this one. This Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 has a massive 400 cubic inch V8 engine (6.6 litre) attached to a 3-speed automatic gearbox. The car has a fantastic “Alpine Green” finish complimented by a white leather interior. This Firebird has been resprayed for cosmetic reasons. The car look splendid with it straight and correctly aligned bodywork. Inside everything is also ship-shape. All gauge sand controls work as they should. The mechanics were also included in the revamp. The excellent maintenance included completely renewing the ignition in 2019. The 6.6 litre V8 engine runs just as you might expect. The engine excels in suppleness and torque at the lower range. The automatic shifts well and is a good match for the powerful engine. Pontiac intended the Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 as a proper American sports car. For American standards it is without doubt, a very sporty car with impeccable driving manners. The car comes with extensive documentation. The original brochure, invoices, price lists and export papers detailed its journey are all there. Muscle Car and Pony Car: Shared the platform with the Chevrolet Camaro, featuring distinct Pontiac styling cues.
Variants: Offered various models and engine options, including the Trans Am, which gained fame through movies like "Smokey and the Bandit."
Pontiac Grand Prix (1962-2008):
