Description : Our Chicago showroom proudly presents this unbelievable clean 1967 Pontiac GTO. This GTO is powered by the numbers-matching 400 cubic inch V8, 3-speed automatic transmission, and rear axle. Originality is everywhere in this restoration as far as still having an A.I.R. pump on the engine, the correct clamps, and a beautiful paint job in the original Linden Green. The black vinyl interior is exactly how it was ordered and is sporting the Hurst “His & Hers" dual-gate shifter.
Pump the accelerator pedal twice, turn the key, and that easily recognizable muscle-car rumble rolls out of the exhaust pipes in the smooth rhythm only a finely tuned large displacement V8 can provide. Drop the shifter into 1 and hammer your way through the gears wringing every last bit of performance from this legendary muscle car, or simply pop the shifter in “D" and cruise down the highway with ease.
This '67 GTO is a beautiful example of one of the first muscle cars and is sure to impress. Options include: AM Radio, Spare Tire, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Bias-Ply Tires. Muscle Car and Pony Car: Shared the platform with the Chevrolet Camaro, featuring distinct Pontiac styling cues.
Variants: Offered various models and engine options, including the Trans Am, which gained fame through movies like "Smokey and the Bandit."
Pontiac Grand Prix (1962-2008):
Personal Luxury Car: Initially a full-size car, later transformed into a mid-size model, known for its blend of comfort and performance.

Impact and Legacy:
Performance Image: Pontiac carved a niche for itself by emphasizing performance, sportiness, and innovation, attracting younger and enthusiast drivers.

Cessation of Production: Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and changes in consumer preferences, GM discontinued the Pontiac brand in 2010, marking the end of its legacy in the automotive industry.
