About Porsche 356 Speedster
The Porsche 356 Speedster was a stripped-down version of the 356 that was first introduced in 1954. It was created in response to requests from Porsche's US importer, Max Hoffman, for a cheaper, more basic version of the car that would be popular with American buyers.The Speedster had a lower windshield and a minimalist, lightweight interior that featured bucket seats and a Spartan dashboard. The car was powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produced around 60 horsepower.
