Porsche 911 Early LWB E 2.0 LWB matching colours and numbers, 5-speed, m 1969

General description : A lovely American supplied mid `69 Porsche 911 2.0 E LWB is now available. This model was only produced for a year. This Porsche 911 2.0 E LWB B-series is therefor quite a rarity. It has two distinguishing features namely; an 57 mm increase of the wheelbase and a lightweight magnesium 901 sump and gearbox housing. This car still has its original matching numbers magnesium crankcase, engine and magnesium 5-speed gearbox! `The magnesium crankcase has early cast numbering. Everything is supported with a Porsche certificate. This was also the year that the MFI (injection) was introduced on the E and S models. This fantastic 911 has recently been fully restored and overhauled. The bodywork is fantastic and has perfect fitting body panels and really nice paintwork. The original underbody is solid and rust-free! Finished in the original colour scheme of ‘Bahama Gelb 6805’ and beautiful black leather, ‘Swartz 9822’ trim. The cars interior is as good as new, which is fully in keeping with every other aspect of this car. This 911 is iconic in its `70`s colour! Absolutely unique and incomparable to later versions! About Porsche 911 Early LWB
The early Porsche 911 long wheelbase models, also known as the "L" models, were produced from 1968 to 1973. They were named so because of their longer wheelbase, which increased by 2.4 inches from the previous models. The longer wheelbase provided a smoother and more stable ride, and also allowed for more interior space.

The long wheelbase models were powered by air-cooled, flat-six engines, with displacement ranging from 2.0L to 2.4L. They were available in coupe and Targa body styles, and were equipped with a five-speed manual transmission. Notable features of the long wheelbase 911s include their distinctive "ducktail" rear spoiler and Fuchs alloy wheels.

These early 911s are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts, pure as swb cars but easier to drive and handling better.
