General description : We have the most popular second series 1967 Renault R8 Gordini now available. Distinct from the series 1 by its twin headlights, double Webers and the fast 1255cc 100Hp engine. The cross-flow cylinder head and close-ratio gearbox remained the same as in the series1. This face-lifted version also is known as the 1135. The car has been sourced from Sweden where 21 years ago it was first registered. It has had a recent body-off restoration and mechanical rebuild. The bodywork is as good as new. The arrow-straight panels fit together perfectly. The paintwork and embellishments are most certainly as good as new. The underbody is factory fresh, with no rust and it is colour-coded. No effort and no cost was spared in achieving this splendid result. It naturally flies the only colour the came ever came in, the national French racing colour; ‘Blu de France’ The period Ronal rims complete the picture.
