A rare & immaculate Silver Spur II. This car has been owned for three decades since close to new by a Belgravia based owner who has been chauffeur driven in the car during summer use only with his winters spent in warmer climes. The car was registered previously to his Knightsbridge based Oil Company prior to moving into his name upon his retirement. The car has always resided in an underground Belgravia private garage & has covered a scant 17,800 mile from new.
The exterior is finished in Rolls Royce Midnight Blue imparting an air of Gravitas to the car. To the interior is magnolis hide piped in Navy Blue with a navy blue top roll to the dash board. All woodwork is immaculate & perfect higly figured burr walnut extending to the occasional tables to the rear. A Blaupunkt stereo is fitted giving quality sound throughout the car. Royal blue lambswool carpets complete the ensemble.
The car has been serviced from new until the present date by the supplying dealer Jack Barclay. We will photograph the history as soon as it arrives with us. Suffice to say it is complete & extensive having been done without regard to cost. The rear is spacious in the extreme; a benefit of the LWB configuration.
It is rare to find a low mileage single ownership perfectly maintained car such as this. It is indeed not unlike a new Rolls Royce being delivered 30 years late. Everything works as it should. The air conditioning blows ice cold. The car drives in a similar manner to how it left the showroom on its first trip. The condition it is in is a tribute to the fasidious ownership & maintenance it has received over the years.
