Für die Fa. SIMCA in Nanterre / Frankreich bedeutete Mitte der 60er Jahre die Gleichung „Schönheit + Leistung =Verkaufserfolg“ und so entstand aus dem braven SIMCA 1000 Coupé 1967 das sportliche SIMCA 1200 S Bertone Coupé. Giorgietto Giugiaro zeichnete für Bertone diese Ikone, die bis heute Ihren Reiz nicht eingebüßt hat. Das Besondere an diesem Coupé ist das der Motor sich in Längsrichtung hinten eingebaut ist. Verbunden mit seinen „X-Beinen“ mit 3 Grad negativen Sturz, wurde diesem Coupé die sonst typischen Heckschleuder Manieren fast vollständig ausgetrieben. Der Stoßstangenmotor mit seitlich liegender Nockenwelle und zwei Vergaser ist ein braver Hochleistungsmotor. In Verbindung mit dem sehr niedrigen Leergewicht, bot dieser SIMCA wirklich herausragende Sportwagenleistung. Überraschend sind die Innenraum Verhältnisse. Hier finden auch großgewachsene Menschen ausreichend Platz. Die Instrumentierung ist sportlich und ausreichend und wie der gesamte Innenraum qualitativ hochwertig.Dieses hier angebotene Fahrzeug wurde als einer der Ersten 1200 S am 10.07.1968 in Österreich erstzugelassen. Die originale Einzelgenehmigung aus Österreich, sowie die gesamte Historie dieses Fahrzeuges liegen vor. Viele von diesen SIMCA 1200 S wurden als Basis für eine motorsportliche Nutzung verwendet. So auch dieser „Kampfzwerg“. Momentan sind 175/50 R 13 Yokohama montiert und vermitteln ein wuchtiges Auftreten, gepaart mit ausreichend Grip. Der Motor ist aufgebohrt und unter Verwendung von feinen sportlichen Zutaten wurde die Leistung auf ca. 130 PS gesteigert. Natürlich sind dementsprechend das Fahrwerk und die Bremsanlage angepasst. Edelstahlsportauspuff, OMP Sportsitze, Käfig, Tripmaster, Zusatzinstrumente, Sportlenkrad komplettieren das Paket. Außerdem ist noch ein weiterer Aluradsatz mit Semislick vorhanden.Weiterhin vorhanden ist die original FIA Historic Vehicle Identity Form. Hier wird bescheinigt, daß dieser SIMCA bereits 1971 an der Ennstal Rallye, Frühlingsrallye und It. Hill Claim Rallye in Stainz teilnahm. Hinzu kamen im Laufe der Jahre weitere Einsätze bei u.a. Bavaria Historic, Steiermark Historic, mehrfach die berühmte San Remo Rallye, Du Var, Rechberg Bergrennen. Alle Einsätze sind liebevoll dokumentiert, teils durch Aufkleber auf dem Fahrzeug, oder durch Einträge im FIA Pass.Die Karosserie ist nicht makellos, die Technik aber auf dem Punkt und sehr beeindruckend. Das perfekte Fahrzeug für den Freund von seltenen und sehr sympathischen sportlichen Rennfahrzeugen. Nichts für Menschen mit schwachen Nerven, eher für Zeitgenossen mit Benzin im Blut.Dieses Angebot ist freibleibend und der Zwischenverkauf vorbehalten.
