Die Triumph der TR Baureihe sind typische Vertreter der urigen britischen Roadster. Insgesamt 285.000 gebaute Exemplare zeugen von der Beliebtheit dieser Modelle. Als TR 4 A IRS handelt es sich hier um das letzte Modell der TR 4 Reihe mit deutlichen Verbesserungen zum Vorgänger.So steht z. Bsp. “ IRS “ für Independent Rear Suspention, also Einzelradaufhängung hinten, die eine deutliche Verbesserung brachte.Dieses Fahrzeug wurde vor etwa 20 Jahren und rund 24.000 Miles von einem renommierten Vertragshändler in Mülheim/Ruhr in der Farbe “ BRG “ ( British racing Green ) mit schwarzem Leder Interieur restauriert. Die Karosse wurde von der Bodenplatte getrennt und neu aufgebaut (Frame Off), die gesamte Technik wurde überholt. Der Motor ist mit 40er Weber Doppelvergasern bestückt.Die Restaurierung ist sehr gut Foto-dokumentiert.Der Wagen steht heute noch genauso attraktiv da, wie nach der Restaurierung. Er wird natürlich mit einem neuen Service incl. neuer Reifen und neuer HU nebst H – Kennzeichen ausgeliefert.Das Fahrzeug ist 8 – fach bereift mit den sehr eleganten originalen Stahlfelgen mit Radkappen sowie mit einem Satz Tiefbettfelgen für den sportlichen Auftritt. Das Gutachten Classic Analytics bestätigt den Wert und den Zustand mit der Note 2 +.
