Een uniek stukje historie en een schitterend verzamellaarsobject: Willys Jeep met volgens chassisnummer en ponsplaat bouwdatum 01-04-1945. Dit exemplaar zou in Nederland ingezet zijn tijdens de laatste maanden van de tweede wereldoorlog. Nadat de oorlog in Nederland ten einde kwam zou deze Jeep door het Nederlandse leger gebruikt zijn tot omstreeks 1950 waarna het Griekse leger deze kocht en nog lange tijd in gebruik zou houden. In 2010 kwam de Jeep terug naar Nederland en werd onderworpen aan een restauratie maar wel met behoud van originaliteit! De Jeep is sinds de Nederlandse registratie in bezit geweest van één en dezelfde eigenaar. In 2012 werd deze Willys Jeep door de bekende en hoog aangeschreven vereniging "Keep them Rolling" geïnspecteerd en volgens het afgegeven paspoort beschikt deze over een hoogwaardige authenticiteit! Deze Jeep is uitgerust als radiotechnisch verbindingsvoertuig met authentieke radio zenderontvanger en mast. De afgelopen jaren werd er door de eigenaar een flinke hoeveel memorabilia verzameld om het geheel te completeren. Er is bijvoorbeeld een M1 karabijn (werkt niet) aanwezig in de houder gemonteerd op het raamframe en ook een bijpassende helm, legerkisten en 2 uniformen zijn aanwezig. De technische conditie is goed verzorgd en de Jeep rijdt uitstekend. De motor slaat goed aan loopt rustig. Bij de auto is een uitgebreide map aanwezig met daarin een flinke hoeveelheid facturen en informatie. Ook met het oog op 2020 wanneer 75 jaar vrijheid gevierd zal worden is deze Jeep een interessante klassieker die gezien mag worden tijdens bijvoorbeeld optochten of Re-enactment.
