A rare Coachbuilt Park Ward bodied R type. This car has had an extensive mechanical restoration in the last tow years including a full engine rebuild with new pistons & a re-ground crank etc. Likewise the chassis & braking system has been completely gone though & renewed. The radiator has also been recored & the radiator shell re-chromed.

Prior to restoration the car resided for many many years in Las Vegas Nevada where the dry desert climate preserved the car extremely well. The car presents beautifully in its original British Racing Green/ Sage Green colour scheme.

Since its return it has had a new leather interior fitted along with new carpets. All woodwork has been removed & re-finished to a high standard. Assorted parts have been rechromed as required.

The hood is of green Mohair & glides up & down at the touch of a button. The hood lining is of dark green alcantra. Under the bonnet the car is highly detailed to show standards.
The car featured prominently in a 1968 Inspector Clouseau film delivering Clouseu to a waiting British United Airways Vickers VC-10.
