This 1947 Chevrolet 3100 5-window takes the smooth lines of GM's Advance Design pickup and gives it a hardy dose of modern sleekness. And while this classic is irresistible to show off, great upgrades like the powerful V8, overdrive transmission, and custom/comfy leather make it irresistible to drive, too.
Twilight Royal Plum is the name of the paint that makes an instant impression. This was built to be a show truck, and that was only about a decade ago. So while this one has been driven over the last decade, it's far from a daily grind machine. That's why there's a vibrancy that lasts from a quality application of the metallic paint. The striking look also comes from the way it utilizes the purple on areas like the bumper, grille, and even the slats between the lumber in the truck bed. Custom blue pinstriping, lowered stance, 15-inch polished alloys, and more all come together to give you a detail-oriented classic.
The desirable five-window cab means you also let in more light to show off this exceptional custom interior. The supple tan leather has a fresh and detailed look, including the diamond stitch inserts on the seats that also match the doors. It's a strong V8 that makes a nice tune out of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. This is truly a fine driver, right down to the four-speed automatic w/overdrive. Add in the upgraded independent front end, power steering, and power brakes with front discs, it's easy to enjoy this custom pickup near or far.
