Chevrolet Camaro RS Restomod 421 V8 1967

Allgemeine Beschreibung : Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is a lot of things. It's a mean black machine with a RS-style front end. It's a custom restomod with a nice A/C interior. And it's also an awesome pro-street coupe with a powerful Dart V8 block, Powerglide, and plumbed for nitrous. So when you want to rule the streets with an awesome total build, you already know this is the one.
This coupe turns the intimidation factor way up from every angle. Super-straight body panels, and a sleek black shine over every inch gives this one a means as midnight attitude. When going for the full blackout look, it's the ideal place to upgrade to the Camaro's RS hidden headlight front end. You've got all the other great classic 1st gen Camaro features, like the a '69-style front end with deep chin spoiler, super scoop cowl hood, and the full-width D80 rear spoiler. They eliminated some of the brightwork with a deleted front bumper and a color-matched rear. So now your eyes are really drawn to those Foose alloys and the absolutely aggressive rear tire setup.
The dark attitude continues inside. While this is a true racecar for the road, the level of fit and finish of this fresh interior lets you know this car is much more. Up front is a full custom bucket seat pair that has terrific bolstering and comfy cloth inserts for where you sit. Plus, the Camaro's original logo is in each seatback. Even with the roll bar and the mini tubbed back wheel wells, the rear remains surprisingly accommodating thanks to a similar custom seat setup. You've got great comfort features like an AM/FM/CD/DVD stereo with fold-up screen and Bluetooth. Plus, there's cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. But then you look beyond the sports steering wheel on a tilt column, the full AutoMeter Sport-Comp readouts, and Hurst racing shifter, and then you realize this one was made for power.
The sleek and dark inner walls of the engine bay do a terrific job of funneling all your attention to the shining heart in the middle. It's an instant reminder of how thoughtful this total build is and how few miles are on it. The full custom setup starts with a Dart 421 cubic-inch V8 block. It has been enhanced and fortified with all the right pieces, including a 4340 steel crank, Eagle H-beam rods, solid roller tappet cam, roller rockers with stud girdle, Ross pistons with 10.5:1 compression, AFR aluminum heads, an aluminum high rise intake, and topped with a Holley XP four-barrel carburetor. And what that already sounds like plenty of power, there's also a nitrous bottle mounted in the trunk and plumed into the system. Oh yeah! This is supported by the right pieces, like a cast valve covers, serpentine belt system, and a large aluminum radiator with twin electric fans. The Hedman Husler headers add even more power as they feed a rather straight set of pipes on their way to the Borla mufflers. The transmission is a Powerglide that includes a trans brake and scatter shield. It feeds a Ford limited-slip 9-inch rear with 4.11 gears for powerful take-offs. Because this is a big power coupe, the chassis has been given custom strengthening, including driveshaft loops and subframe connectors. You'll also spot the upgraded strong front suspension, traction bars in the rear, rack & pinion steering, and drilled & slotted four-wheel power disc brakes.
When a coupe is just as good at being a restomod as it is a pro-street machine, then you know it's one awesome total build. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind mean Camaro. Call now!
