Chevrolet Camaro LS3 Restomod LS3 V8 1970

Allgemeine Beschreibung : Description
You're already tempted just by the idea of a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro with an RS-style split bumper front end and some Z/28 style. But just one mere glance at this one, and you know there have been some serious investments and upgrades. Sleek green paint, a fresh but vintage-style interior, six-speed transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, performance suspension, and a powerful LS3 motor - they all tell you this is the coolest Camaro restomod you can get your hands on right now.
Forest Green is the car's factory-correct color, but this one has the unmistakable look of a more recent application. The paperwork on this car shows most of the work was done between 2011-2016, which gives it a fresher style that really shows. You see it in the kind of shine that gets this coupe plenty of attention. It draws people in, which is great, because this is a detail-oriented car. It has great Z/28-style upgrades like the large chin spoiler and full badging. The iconic white racing stripes were expertly laid down to let the light roll evenly across the sheetmetal. Plus, they help accent the tall cowl hood and the spoiler that runs end-to-end over the rear. And the Rally Sport split front bumpers make way the large grille that looks like it wants to consume all the lesser cars on the road. A great finishing touch is the set of large 18-inch Billet Specialties modern alloys that are a sure sign of more modern upgrade within.
The interior has an awesome vintage style done in green. The classic cloth upholstery has a very fresh feel. That makes for a great way to showcase details, like the low-back bucket seats that were exclusive to the '70 Camaro. Plush carpeting, full door panels, and a smooth dash make this very inviting. You even have classic wood-like trim. The interior is more than just a time capsule. They integrated worthwhile upgrades, like the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/aux input. And the bright sports steering wheel is a worthy addition while still giving you a good view of the full gauge package. Also, have you counted the gears on the stick shift yet?
The engine bay has the unmistakable look of an upgrade. This looks like a powerplant forged in serious muscle, and that's for a good reason. This is an LS3 crate V8. These are built for 500+ horsepower right out of the box, and this appears to have also been given a cam upgrade when new. We even have receipts for over $9k invested in this motor alone. Plus, you have aluminum heads, hardened pushrods, fly-cut pistons, and topped with a Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor. It's supported by the right pieces, including Edelbrock cast valve covers, a serpentine belt system, metal water pipe, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. Headers add even more power to this package while contributing to the thunder of the X-pipe dual exhaust. Best of all you get firm control over it all thanks to the Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission. Plus, the undercarriage photos reveal more terrific upgrades, like Detroit Speed subframe connectors, a stout Ford 9-inch rear, and a Heidts four-link rear suspension. There's also power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and grippy performance tires to reinforce this great driving attitude.
The sale comes complete with restoration photos, build receipts, and operating/service manuals. When you want an all-out dominator of a classic Camaro that also knows how to be a cool classic, then this is your wish list in one sleek coupe. Call now!
