Here we have a 1974 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Type LT for sale. This is a stunning car that has been meticulously cared for over the course of its life. It features just over 14K original miles and looks to be mostly all original paint. If you are in the market for a low mileage collector, you won't want to miss out on this Camaro. When you walk around it you are sure to be impressed as every panel on it is in excellent condition. We can see that the gaps are even and symmetrical and it has an excellent fit of the doors, hood and trunk. The body is covered in the original Medium Red Metallic Paint that is in excellent condition for its age. You'll notice it does have some lacquer checking, but overall, the paint is beautiful. It's accented by the Z28 Stripe Kit along with the side molding and the black stripe down low. Both the front and rear aluminum bumpers are in great condition along with the guards. All the glass in this Camaro is equally impressive along with all the seals and weatherstripping. To finish off the look it's sitting on the factory 15” Wheels and Firestone F60 Wide Oval Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this LT. On the inside it looks to be all original and features the Cloth Saddle LT optioned interior. This was an early production Z/28 that features the safety seat belt feature that is still functional. Looking at the door panels we can see they are both in great condition and features the standard windows that go up and down with ease. Both the front bucket and the rear bench seat are in excellent condition along with all the padding and springs. Looking at the dash we can see that it is equally impressive as the pad is beautiful along with all the gauges. The gauge cluster has the wood grain accent and all the gauges are working as they should. We can also see that it has the original steering wheel and is a column shift optioned Z/28. The headliner and carpet both still retain an excellent fit and have been very well cared for. Inside the trunk is all solid from the jam to the pan. It's detailed out with the trunk liner, factory spare, and jack.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood is all solid from in the inner fenders to the firewall. The power comes from the matching numbers 350 V8 engine that has been set up with double hump heads, winters 3890490 aluminum intake and Holley 750 Carb. This Z/28 is set up with Power Steering along with Power Brakes with disc on the front and drums out back. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and Magnaflow Mufflers. When you look under this Camaro you will see that it comes with both the front and rear sway bars. We can also see it has all the original floor pans that are rock solid and still show the factory red oxide primer. The front sub frame and rear fame rails are also equally solid and show no signs of abuse. The matching numbers 350 engine runs through the Matching Numbers M40 turbo 400 trans and the G80 3.73 Posi gear 10 bolt rear end. On the highway this Type LT Z28 is a blast to drive.
