The design is easily recognisable by the shiny chrome metal strip that curves from the front of the hood to the rear lights. The taillights and the rear end look like a military jet fighter. In profile, the body has the shape of a bullet, which is where it gets its name. Ford was innovative in several ways, and the Bullet Bird benefited from this with the inclusion of a so-called Swing-Away steering wheel.
