Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this MONSTOROUS 1940 Packard Custom. This classic suburban is absolutely a head turner and sure to be king of the road. With a complete restoration being completed on this beauty, she is ready to roll. Powering this big machine is a new 250 I6 with only a little over 100 miles on it since it’s been installed. The transmission is original to the car with no need for a rebuild as it is in full operating order. Even the body panels to the car are original and have just been refurbished to bring this old beauty back to life. The chrome trim through the car is in good condition. The car sits on a set of clean, and classy wide white wall tires accented by the chromed hub caps. Looking at the interior you will see there is more than enough space for a large group of family and friends. While remaining original to the era the upholstery is a nice maroon color and does not have any major rips or tears. If you really want to be taken back to the ‘40s look at the speedometer. Unlike the ones today moving in increments of 10 or 20 this one just goes to 10. It would make for a nice joke if you were to get pulled over, just explain to the office that you were only going 8 MPH according to your speedometer. With plenty of leg room for the whole family this classic ride still has more space to give. The trunk is plenty big to fit some groceries or a couple bags if your interested in going for a weekend drive.
