Now, up for sale in our Houston showroom is this 1999 Plymouth Prowler. This car really needs no introduction & when this car rolls down the street all gear-heads know exactly what kind of car this is. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler are the open, Indy racer-style front wheels. This Prowler is in the Plymouth red candy paint and it is superb condition due to the fact that this car has only 9730 original miles!! This Prowler has been meticulously maintained and kept indoors most of its life, and is essentially a one family vehicle - the original purchaser passed it down to his daughter. The Prowler was a revolutionary design at a time when a lot of cars started to all look the same. Powering this Prowler down the road is the second-generation motor. The Prowler featured a power-train from Chrysler's LH-cars, a 24-valve, 3.5 L Chrysler SOHC V6 engine producing 214 hp at 5850 rpm. For the 1999 model year, the engine was replaced with a more powerful, aluminum-block, 253 hp at 6400 rpm version of the engine. Backing the 253HP V6 is a 4-speed Autostick automatic transmission, which is located near the rear of the drive train, giving the car a perfect 50/50 front to rear weight ratio. All equipment on the car is as it came from the factory. Its options include Air Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette/CD radio, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, key-less entry, driver & passenger airbags, anti-theft alarm system, tilt steering, & an "in amazing condition" leather interior that still appears brand new. Additional interior features include custom paint matched dash trim & an Auto-meter tachometer. This Prowler sits on its O.E. chrome wheels, which are wrapped in very low mileage radial tires. This car has a clean Carfax and looks almost as nice as it did the day it rolled off the assembly line.
