1927 Rolls Royce 20hp Hooper Style Tourer

Just arrived & undergoing a full service. This delightful pretty little tourer carries a more recent body in the style of Hooper. A contemporary photo of a Hooper tourer was used as the template & is in the history file. The first owner is recorded as a Miss Buckley of Stratford Upon Avon.
Paintwork is a deep red over black & is in good order thoughout. A full set of side screens comes with the car albeit appearing to have been little used. To the interior is black leather to the front & rear being in super condition. The full length hood erects easily & provides good cover for inclement conditions.
Mechanicaly the car is very sound with excellent oil pressure & an engine that runs cool as a result of having had a brand new core fabricated & fitted to the radiator. The rebuilt engine runs well & pulls storngly in all gears giving very decent B road motoring speeds.
To the rear of the car is a useful motoring trunk for stowage of tools & picnic requisites. The battery unusually is mounted in a running board wooden box & has an electrical cut out fitted for then the car is left unused over longer periods.
Very tidy under the bonnet, this is a well sorted car ready for immediate use. We are selling the car freshly serviced & tuned. Indicated mileage is 28985 but this will increase as we are using it over the summer for our classic motoring needs.
