This 1952 Ford F-1 restomod checks and delivers all the features you really want, and even some you weren't even yet dreaming about. After all, it's a sleek-looking classic with a loaded leather-lined A/C interior, proper V8 power, and four-wheels disc brakes. In fact, when you find a truck with a fully independent suspension, you realize it has to be part of an exceptionally thoughtful build.
The body is dressed in red, and it's the kind of a vivid application that makes people stand at attention from blocks away. As it gets closer, there's so much depth that you'd swear a ruby inspired the color. And speaking of valuable things, the body panels were treated like true precious metal. So this one knows how to impress from the first impression. Plus, the '52 Ford had that awesome front end that looked like the headlights and grille were floating. The banjo-style steering wheel has a coordinating tan leather wrap, and it's mounted on a tilt steering column to give you a clear view to the full VDO gauge package.
The smooth and clean inner walls of the engine bay do a great job of funneling your attention to the tidy V8 in the middle. It's a fully-built 283 cubic-inch unit that includes Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers that feed a dual exhaust with rumbling Flowmasters. And because this is a quality build, you'll also spot the right supporting components, like a serpentine belt system and a large aluminum radiator with an electric fan. As you look underneath the truck, you'll see the upgraded tubular A-arm front suspension and Jaguar rear suspension that give you the superior fully independent setup. Plus, there's a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes. It's a high-class overall setup that proves its quality in the way it starts, idles, shifts, and drives all with confidence.
