A cool color, V8 power, and the right upgrades (including a five-speed,) all come together to give this 1965 Ford Mustang an appealing total package. And as you look at all the details, it really shows off a classic made for driving.
Mustangs look great in a dark green. After all, we can't help but think of Steve McQueen's Bullitt. And the upgraded torque thrust wheels really add to the legendary look, too. There's even a well-done shine from the bright chrome bumpers and upgraded crystal-clear headlights. Under the hood is Ford's legendary 289 cubic-inch V8. It looks good with nice wires, hoses, and even an upgraded aluminum radiator. The bracer bar and Mickey Thompson valve covers give this a sporty look. And that's backed up be added power. The V8 inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power and authority as long tube headers feed the dual exhaust. Not only do you have enhanced V8 power, but you get to harness it better thanks to a five-speed manual transmission upgrade. Plus, features like front disc brakes, a rear sway bar, and the grip of modern tires all makes this a better driver, too.
