Trade-in car. Gorgeous is the only fitting description this Lancia Flaminia GTL 2.8 Touring deserves. We have unearthed a wonderful project for you. Someone already started its restoration. The photos show that the car is more or less completed. It will not take a quick few Saturday afternoons to finish, however it might be more rewarding to take this on rather than buying someone else's finished work. This car, as it stands, shows the naked truth. It is the ultimate base for a world-beating restoration. All the paint on the gorgeous aluminium Carrozzeria Touring bodywork has been removed in expectation of its new paintwork. The bodywork no longer needs a lot of attention. The doors and the full interior trim including the carpets are present. To be honest the carpets are no longer in their first flush of youth and depending on the level of restoration desired could be replaced. The 2.8 V6 engine is fully intact. The bumpers and ornamental strips and other brightwork are all neat. Just looking at the aluminium bodywork and short wheel base it is not too difficult to imagine the potential this project has to bring this car back to a top-quality factory-fresh condition. Apart from the fact that the enthusiast will be vey much aware of the value of a concourse condition Lancia Flaminia GTL 2.8, this is also a piece of Italian heritage of which only 3000 were ever built. It does not matter how you look at it, the only conclusion is that this car is more than worth the effort of restoration. We only kindly request that you send use photos of the final result!
