Maserati 3500GT Vignale Spyder Only 232 made, matching numbers and colours, EU de 1960

Allmän beskrivning : Between 1957 and 1964 Maserati built 1,976 3500GT’sCoupé with a Touring body. This convertible with a Vignale body on the other hand is much rarer with only 232 having been produced. Since this car first hit the roads in 1960 it has lost none of its beauty. What a gorgeous design! This car has recently been resprayed in her original “Grigio Platino” finish. The quality of the respray and its current condition is fantastic. The bodywork is as straight as can be with lovely thin and correctly aligned panelwork. The hood provides a tight fit and only shows slight signs of wear. Furthermore, the brightwork and Borrani wheels are all very neat. The interior is upholstered in black leather with black carpets, exactly as it was when the car left the factory. Both the leather and carpets are in good condition. The dashboard sports fine Jaeger instruments which are all in correct working order. There is also a Becker radio, a lovely original three-spoke steering wheel and for the ultimate luxury touch: electrically operated windows. Mechanically this Maserati has also enjoyed the utmost care and attention. It still has its original engine, which with its three twin Weber carburettors runs wonderfully well. The straight-six 3.5 litre engine is attached to a 5-speed ZF gearbox. The transmission is both smooth and precise. The car also. has front disc brakes and a stainless steel exhaust system.
