Allmän beskrivning : Trade-in car. Maserati Merak. Our car is a Maserati Merak 3000. It has its original ‘Arancione’ finish with black leather interior trim. Produced on the 28th November 1974 it was first registered in California in 1975. This very authentic Merak 3.0 is in excellent solid and sound condition! It has only clocked up 28,035 true miles and which is reflected in the car’s condition in a positive sense! The bodywork is very authentic and exceptionally solid. It has correctly aligned shut lines and in the main stands in its first coat of paint, which could do with a re-spray to enhance its appearance. All the body panels are original and rust-free. The underbody is original and perfect and will only need cosmetic attention and certainly will not need restoring. It has a lovely, fully original interior, the black leather is in good condition together with the original carpets, dashboard covering and headliner and so forth. On the mechanical side this car was still being driven when it was put into storage 10 years ago, the engine removed. All mechanical aspect appear to be in good order awaiting to be reassembled and serviced after this long period of inactivity. Of importance is the presence of all the well-preserved brightwork and plastics. It also still has its original rims. This Merak has its, original, matching numbers engine.
