This Alfa Romeo Bertone 2000 GTV was first registered in the Netherlands on the 11th February 1972. Yes this is an original Dutch supplied car that stayed here all its life and has only known three owners. This Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV naturally still has its Dutch registration. It has been so well maintained that this car is still in a very original condition. The car has been resprayed in its original “516 Faggio” colour with the colour code sticker still on the inside of the boot lid. The interior appears to be complete with a correct patina. The dashboard is fortunately free from the typical tears you come across on the top near the air vents. This quite rare event is probably thanks to the fact it was kept out of the sun as much as possible. Bertone’s secret lies in its mechanical prowess. The wonderful engine performance, the sporty gear change and sumptuous air intake and exhaust note. It is all so distinctive to everyone, even if you are not a signed up Alfisti. Care and attention were certainly not in short supply with this example. An overview reveals that more than€ 30,000.- was spent on keeping this car in its current excellent condition. The various invoices also show that besides the amount spent, the work was only entrusted to specialists. In 2017 the engine was completely rebuilt by Arese, a famous name inside the Alfa world.
