Alfa Romeo Giulia (0) 1967

General description : The Alfa Romeo Giulia is well known as one of the most exciting 70’s sports sedans. If the normal Giulia is a feast to drive then our car rightly deserves the accolade of being away at some festival for a long weekend. Ten times as good, a superlative driving experience! The reason for this are all the upgrades fitted that take this sporty Italian to a higher plane. This car is more than the sum of its parts. The roll-cage not only makes the car safer it also stiffens up the car, which in turn improves drivability. They have fitted a larger 2.0 twin-cam engine with sports exhaust delivering the appropriate tone to match the performance. The timbre changes every few hundred revs, incomparable to the sound of modern cars; it’s simply magic! The improved drivability is also in part thanks to the Bilstein shocks and springs. The standard seats have been exchanged for Alfa Romeo 156 sports seats. These seats have been professionally secured and fitted with Hamas safety harnesses. The wooden Autotechnica steering wheel and fitted tripmeter complete the interior look. The fact that this is a rally-prepared car does not mean that it has not been lavished with care and attention, the contrary is true. Underneath it is rock solid and undamaged. The fine bodywork is straight and correctly aligned. The paintwork is in good order with only minor blemishes. The interior is in very good condition. The 2.0 engine and gearbox condition is top-notch. The extra power this car has at its disposal makes everything go just that bit easier and lets the engine work a little less hard. There is nothing like some extra displacement. The gearbox shifts supply and sure-footedly. In short a delightful Alfa Romeo Giulia that will provide you with oodles of pleasure No matter if you are a seasoned racer or a first-time buyer, we are offering anyone a winning formula. About Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo was initially founded in 1907 in Naples to prepare a French origin Darracq-cars for sale in Italy.

The company did not fare particularly well, so the Italians investors took over the company, which was given the new name of the ALFA (Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili) . Nicola Romeo took over the company in 1918 turning it into ALFA ROMEO.

In 1933 Alfa Romeo was rescued again this time by the government, turning Alfa Romeo into an instrument of Mussolini's Italy, a national emblem that produced luxorious cars for the rich.

However, pre WWII Alfa Romeo is best remembered by its classic Grand Prix cars;
The Vittorio jano designed Alfa Romeo P2 that won the inaugural Automobile World Championship in 1925, the sensational P3 which won its first race driven by Tazio Nuvolari at the Italian Grand Prix, 5 more Grands Prix that year by Nuvolari and Rudolf Caracciola,

As well as, those racing sports cars; the 6C 1750, that Tazio Nuvolari won the Mille Miglia in, the 8C 2300 that won the Le Mans 24 Hours from 1931 to 1934, and finally 8C 2900.
Alfa Corse closed for 1933 and eventually transferred them to Enzo Ferrari's now privatised 'factory' team Scuderia Ferrari

Post war Alfa Romeo might be best remembered by the all alloy Alfa Romeo Twin Cam Hemi engine produced from 1954 to 1994 or those 60's Italian films that all seem to present that quintesential Alfa Giulietta driven by The Carabinieri.

Today any classic Alfa Romeo make a great addition to an Italian car enthusiast's portfolio.
