BMW 1600 GTBaujahr 1968Chassis-Nr. W001931BMW 1600 GT. Ein echter BMW? Ja, müsste die Antwort lauten.BMW übernahm 1966 die Fa. Glas und erbte fantastische von Hans Glas in Auftrag gegebene Frua Karosserien; eingesetzt im Glas 1300 und 1700 GT Coupé, sowohl als auch in den grossen V8 Coupés. BMW straffte das Programm und setzte u.a in die GT Coupés den legendären und drehfreudigen 1,6 Liter BMW Motor ein, bestückt mit 2 Doppelvergasern der Marke Solex und gut für 105 PS. Diese atemberaubende Karosserie verbunden mit diesem rassigen Motor, eine außergewöhnlich gelungene Kombination, wie auch die Fachjournalisten bescheinigten. Die Krux war nur, das BMW zur gleichen Zeit die 02-Serie auf den Markt brachte und Diese mit dem 1600 GT konkurrierten. Also wurde nach knapp 1 Jahr Bauzeit und ca. 1250 Fahrzeugen bedauerlicherweise im August 1968 die Produktion eingestellt.Der hier angebotene BMW 1600 GT hat eine nachvollziehbare Historie. Vor ca. 6-7 Jahren wurde dieses Fahrzeug aufwendig und komplett restauriert. Im Zuge der Restauration wurde auch das sportliche Holzlenkrad verbaut. Außerdem bekam der Fahrersitz eine verdeckt eingebaute aufpumpbare Lordosenstütze. Der Motor ist noch original und matching, das Fahrwerk und die Bremsen tadellos und die Karosserie und das Lackbild bis heute ohne Beanstandungen. Die meisten BMW 1600 GT sind in fester Sammlerhand . Aus unserer Sicht darf dieses Sportcoupé in keiner ambitionierten Sammlung fehlen, getreu nach dem Motto: „Freude am Fahren“.Zusatzleistungen wie große 154 Pt.umfassende Inspektion, neuer TÜV, H-Zulassung, Transport, Anmeldung in Deutschland, Wertgutachten etc. sind gegen separate Aufwandsentschädigung möglich.Dieses Fahrzeug steht in unserem neuen Showroom in der Motorworld Köln, Butzweiler Str. 35-39, 50829 Köln.
