According to the current owner this vehicle was used as a Denton Dry Cleaners vehicle in the 1960's. It was purchased by the current owner in 1968 from them locally in Texas and has been restored to the beast it is today. Walking around the exterior one should notice the gloss black paint. Adding to the curb appeal are chrome staggered 18" Coys wheels wrapped in radial tires, chrome bumper, chrome grille, chrome mirrors, chrome handles, chrome Biscayne badging, and rear opening hatch. The aggressive stance is accomplished with drop spindles and really gives the car a cool appearance. The interior of the sedan delivery was custom and features two toned Turquoise with black vinyl seats, door panels, and dash. The rear cabin is carpeted with a compartment storing the spare tire and jack. This custom hotrod gives a mix of modern features with a big block v8 performance. Some options include air conditioning, AM/FM radio, updated gauges, custom wheels, performance tires, power brakes with disc, power steering, seat belts, tilt steering, and custom vinyl interior. Powering this unique '59 is a 396 CID V8 bored into a 402 CID Big Block V8 engine that is mated to a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. The owner claims the drivetrain has been driven about 500 miles since being rebuilt. If you are looking for a late 50's GM, this sedan delivery has the history and style to make it a great addition into any collection.
