1931 Chevrolet Sedan As time goes on the classics from the early 1900s only become more rare. Of those still around many have already been restored or they are rotting away into the ground. If you think about it, a vehicle from the 30s was most likely a regular commuter. People didn't think they were going to be worth any more in the future just like the feeling you get when you drive your new car off the lot to instantly have it depreciate in value. These cars were driven on more primitive roads and weren't really treated as show cars because at the time it was just the modern thing you had to get around. That means a solid survivor car like you see here has managed to avoid wrecks, junk yards, weather, and more for almost 90 years! When you put it into perspective vehicles like this 31 Chevrolet become so much more special. This is a nice solid 4 door sedan car that is all original. The steel body is solid and despite some patina doesn't have any bad rust problems. It would make a great base for a restoration OR would be a super cool rat rod because of the perfect Blue and surface patina combo. The inline 6 cylinder motor is not frozen up and will run. It currently doesn't have a gas tank or battery but it was gone through to make sure it would start up. It is paired with a manual 3 speed transmission. The interior is original as well with its dual bench seats covered in Brown cloth. It certainly isn't perfect but considering its age the cloth is in surprisingly good shape. The headliner isn't even sagging! This car would make for a really great project for someone. Being a Chevy makes it even more unique and whether you are seeing stock original, rat rod, or custom street rods cruising through your head this car would be a great start. This car has been SOLD!
