Chevrolet Sedan 1938

General description : 1938 Chevrolet Sedan One of the more unique body styles every produced has to be the old humpback sedans.  These full size cars were designed specifically for interior room without sacrificing a place for the trunk.  Designing around these parameters, Chevrolet came up with a design that not only serves that purpose but has a very sleek classy look.  With some custom paint work and the perfect amount of chrome this 1938 Chevrolet Sedan accents those body lines perfectly.  The all steel body is coated a two tone Yellow and Silver with a Red/Orange accent line separating them.  These colors work really well with each other and have a clean finish.  The body has been chopped 4" giving it a much more street rod appearance than stock.  All of the chrome and stainless from the bumpers to the hood trim and door handles is in good condition with a nice shine.   The electrical on the car is all working properly include the big dual front headlights and 1939 taillights.  This classic really looks awesome rolling down the road and is sitting on Intro custom wheels that are fully polished out and wrapped with Toyo tires (F-215/50/17,R-235/60/17.)    If reliability and ease of maintenance is important to you then you should be happy to hear this classic was fitted with a 350/350 drive train which is proven to be one of the best set ups available.  The car runs well and is a great driver.  Chrome valve covers are in place as well as a billet air cleaner which nicely tops the Throttle Body Injection system.  The car has a great sound and a nice dual exhaust system that looks perfect with each split into dual tips and routed out the rear.  Heating is never a concern with the added dual electric fans and AFCO radiator.  A Mustang II style front end has been added along with disc brakes and helps to give the car a nice smooth ride.  In back the car has a 10 bolt rear end with 3:42 gears. The body sits on its stock frame that has been modified for the front end and a chassis engineering parallel leafs in back.  Other nice upgrades include the power brakes and AC system. The interior of the car is finished out in in Gray and Orange with all of the upholstery being in good condition.  The bucket seats are very comfortable and the drivers seat is power adjustable.  Custom accents are found throughout with the door panels utilizing billet handles and a nicely incorporated arm rest.  The dash of the car is painted Yellow to match the lower half of the exterior and is topped by a lot of billet components.  White faced VDO gauges are mounted in a billet bezel and all work properly.  An AM/FM/CD player is also in place and is Ipod/USB ready.  This is a very cool classic that runs well and looks great.  You rarely see cars like this out at shows especially customized and street rodded like this one.  This classic could be yours for the reduced price of !
