The first thing you notice about this one is the style. Cobalt Blue is a modern color, and this one has a terrific shine. So it radiates a custom style even before people recognize the unique no-top silhouette and aggressive forward-leaning stance. Everything from the deleted bumpers to the wide exhaust tips shows off a nice custom sense of style. There are even custom surfboards with a rack over the diamond plate truck bed. But this roadster pickup also doesn't lose its classic heritage. It's nicely integrated into the details. For example, this may have a hot rod look with the larger rear tires, but the full package utilizes classic red steelies and two-piece trim. The real wood side stakes on the truck bed are truly vintage, and they are also pleasing to the eye as a nice step-down transition between the cab and bed. And since the early F-Series trucks had this unique grille, we love that it's such a shining centerpiece against the dark blue front end.

The interior is a full custom setup with the kind of saddle leather that would make a new F-150 King Ranch jealous. So we're glad it stays on display in this roadster for everyone to see. There are thoughtful details for added comfort, like cup holders, seatbelts, and a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with aux input. The power windows make for a quick and easy wind buffer if you take this cruiser up to highway speeds. And it really is meant to be a driver. That's why you have upgrades like the banjo-style wood-rimmed steering wheel, a tilt column, and a full set of dolphin gauges.

When you look in the engine bay, the smooth color-matched inner walls, flame-etched valve covers, polished details, and big air grabber are exactly what you want to see in such a custom vehicle. But beyond the style is the substance of a hardy 350 cubic-inch Chevy V8 with later-style center-bolt covers. It has nice power upgrades like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. You'll even spot good supporting components like an HEI distributor, an electric fan, and upgraded pulleys. It makes for a strong powerhouse that's part of an overall upgraded driver. As you look underneath, you'll see an updated frame with an independent front end. There's also a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Add in power steering, power brakes, and front discs, and you can see this roadster pickup is ready for far more than just trips to the beach.

This is a unique and comfortable head-turner made from an iconic classic. So you know exactly why you want this Ford. So don't miss out, call today!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.

Today classic Fords are extremely popular with enthusiasts and a great selection of classic Fords can be found for sale at www.ClassicDigest.com
