Ford Model B 1932

General description : 1932 Ford Sport Club Coupe If you know what you are looking at then you probably realize how rare it is.  This unique Ford had a limited production number and is very sought after with guys who know there history.  The all steel "SportCoupe" body combines the look of a ragtop with the function of a coupe.  Spend some time checking out the top and you may realize you have never seen one of these before.  Only 2,911 of these cars were produced and the body style was dropped after 1932 making them very unique.  You rarely see these cars up for sale as they are typically locked away in collections and museums.  The Beige cloth top is mounted permanently in place and is in great condition.  From the looks you would think it is all original but the drive train has been entirely upgraded and done to run like your brand new daily driver.  It is a very cool combination of old school style with new school comfort.  The body is coated in a slick Red paint that looks beautiful next to all that chrome.  Chrome bumpers are in place up front and in rear which is something you don't see as much on 32's anymore.  In addition, other original style chrome like the headlight bar and hood trim is nicely mounted as well.  The large chrome circle headlights work just as they should as does the aftermarket LED teardrop taillights in rear.  Side mirrors are nicely mounted to each side which greatly improve visibility when cruising around.  A tan rumble seat is in place in rear and is something everyone loves checking out.  The car has a nice solid stance and is mounted on a fully polished set of American Racing Torque Thrust wheels.  Through the wheels you will see disc brakes up front and nicely painted to match drums in rear.  In addition to the drum brakes the entire undercarriage has mostly been painted to match.  This includes the rear end, drive shaft, suspension components and more.  Under the hood of the car is a nice 350 V8 and is topped with the perfect amount of chrome.  The vintage vented air cleaner looks great combined with the billet polished valve covers on each side.  The spark plug wires are red to match the car and are routed through nice wire looms.  The car always run cool with the cleanly mounted electric fan and billet overflow tank.  The motor has a nice smooth idle and roars to life through headers into polished exhaust.  The Turbo 350 transmission shifts nicely with no problems.   The interior is completed in a beige leather to match the top and is in great condition.  There is virtually zero wear and tear and the bench seat is very comfortable allowing plenty of leg room.  The door panels have custom accents done in leather and are topped with nice chrome door handles and window cranks.  The dash is painted Red and is topped with a frenched in polished billet gauge bezel.  This houses the white faced gauges which all work just as they should.  The lower dash section is covered with beige leather and has the vintage AC controls cleanly mounted in place.  The polished column is all adjustable and is topped with a billet steering wheel.  The overhead console has a courtesy light with a Kenwood AM/FM/CD player. You don't see these car up for sale everyday so get it while you can.  It is only going to become more rare as time goes on! Check out the price of original steel cars plus factor in the rarity of the club coupe and you will see this car is a STEAL at only $44,500.00!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
