Ford Tudor Door Sedan 350 V8 1939

General description : 350 V8, TH350, A/C, MUSTANG II FRNT, COIL OVER, RACK & PINION STR, GREAT RIDE!

A slick custom exterior, a comfy A/C interior, and a nice small block under the hood – that's why this 1939 Ford 2-door sedan is the perfect turn-key classic for all occasions.
The Tudor fastback body is sleek and ideally lends itself to a lowered and raked stance, without losing any of its backseat practicality. You're looking at Henry Ford era steel that has been nicely streamlined for an extra slick appearance. You see it in areas like the running boards, wider fenders, and frenched-in taillights & license plate. It was then wrapped in a modern red that looks great in the sunshine. But the reason you really love this design are all the brightwork touches. Teardrop headlight surrounds, V8 grille accents, mirror-like bumpers, dual exhaust tips, and that trim that runs the full-length of the car and hooks around the Ford name in the front – it's all part of a very artful factory package that still looks great today. And those American Racing wire wheels add to this custom's shine and distinction.
This is a very thoughtful custom-built interior, and that's evident from the moment you step inside. The button-top two-tone seats have a kind of plushness you'd expect from fine home furniture. And the gray cloth seen on the door panels, dash, headliner, and trunk is a great coordinating package. Your hands rest comfortably on the Lecarra steering wheel, and beyond that is cool custom digital gauge package. As you keep gazing across the dash, you'll see more upgrades like the AM/FM/CD stereo, auxiliary gauge trio, and cold air conditioning to keep you feeling cool while looking cool.
Since the rest of the car is built to show off, you'll be happy to see the engine bay is, too. The valve covers, air topper, radiator shroud, and braded steel radiator pipe all have a nice shine. Beyond flash, there's the substance of a Chevy 350 cubic-inch small block V8 that has been upgraded with pieces like a Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and rumbling dual exhaust. And more than just upgraded power, when you look at the undercarriage photos, you're going see great enhancements like a Mustang II-style independent front suspension and adjustable QA1 coilovers in the rear. Plus, there's also a three-speed automatic transmission and front disc brakes. And even if you're stuck in traffic, the aluminum radiator means this car can stay cool while you've got the A/C blowing. So this is a great all-around driving classic.
A standout appearance with all the right upgrades for everyday appeal. A car like this is the perfect anytime classic, but the first step to driving it every day is by making a call to us today!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
