Jaguar E-type Series 2 Roadster 1969 1970

General description : The Jaguar E-type cars came in 3 series and this is a series 2 car from 1969. The E-type series 2 has improved seats and gearbox to the earlier cars. But still with that great 4.2 litre six cylinder engine.

Exterior: Older paintwork that still looks great. Chrome spoke wheels in very good condition with good tyres and wheel nuts approved in E.U. A very nice proper cloth soft-top and the vinyl cover for this when you have the top down. This Jaguar E-type has a very nice and balanced ride height and looks amazing driving down the street. All panels have a very good fit for being a Jaguar E-type. Chrome on bumpers, handles etc are still in very good original condition. The small light on the side underneath the rear bumper tells you that this Jaguar E-type Roadster was sold new in USA.

Interior: Just wonderful black leather and carpets. Stepping into the car shows small traces of use, but door panels, dashboard etc are in excellent condition. Nice looking instruments that are all working. Original style chrome buckle waist seat belts. A time period correct cassette radio. This Jaguar E-type Roadster also looks nice and clean in the trunk area. No corrosion in spare wheel compartment.

Engine: The Jaguar E-type Roadster has 4.2 litre straight six engine with dual Stromberg configuration. Starts easy and runs nice. Serviced properly in the end of 2020 and just recently fitted with new spark plugs. Gearbox and final drive feel good. Brake pedal is nice and firm, and the car does not pull when you brake hard.

History: The Jaguar E-type Roadster where old new in USA late 1969 and had the good fortune to come to Sweden 2014. It has been only one owner in Sweden and this Roadster has been well maintained over the years by a specialist workshop. Comes with invoices, and other documents it has generated over the years here in Sweden.
