General description : 1932 Packard 900 Light Eight CoupeChassis number:558349
Registration number: WXG170

Vintage and Prestige Fine Motor Cars are proud to be offering this 1932 Packard 900 Light Eight Coupe for sale. A very rare Packard "shovel nose" produced for just two years.  The powerful 5.2 litre straight eight is a paragon of smoothness and power.
This Packard 900 has had extensive works done to it starting with an engine rebuild and culminating in fresh paint in dark blue and black along with a re-trim in pale blue leather.  As a result the Packard 900 is in superb order starting readily and showing a surprising turn of speed in modern traffic conditions.
The coachwork is Packard’s own 2 door coupé with a dickey seat fitted to the rear.  About 500 examples are thought to have been produced. Long, low and rakish, it typifies Americana of the period in the best ‘Capone’ style. In addition to the fresh paint and interior, new tyres have also been fitted.  The brakes have also had a thorough overhaul as has the fuel tank and assorted engine ancillaries.
A new clutch was also fitted during the refurbishment process. The Packard 900 is thus, ready for extended touring and long distance use..
