Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is pleased to offer for sale This 1992 Pontiac Firebird. This was sold new by the Pollard Friendly Motor Company in Boulder, Colorado, and spent time in Arizona before being sold to Texas. The body is finished in yellow and features removable T-top panels. The Sport Appearance Package added more aggressive front and rear fascias, aero side skirts, a unique rear valence, and a rear wing. The windows were tinted during previous ownership and the selling dealer installed a fixed antenna in place of the factory retractable unit. Close-up photos of the paint and trim can be viewed in the gallery. Factory-optional 15” basketweave alloy wheels feature gold centers and wear 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is from vented front discs and rear drums.
The interior is upholstered in black cloth and features cruise control, air conditioning, an aftermarket alarm system, and a Pioneer CD player, along with power windows, door locks, and side mirrors. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, battery level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows less than 30k documented miles. The 5.0-liter V8 features throttle-body fuel injection and hydraulic lifters and produced 170 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque when new. The July 2021 Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage and shows registration history in Colorado, Arizona, and Texas. If you are looking for a Firebird, this one should be considered.
