The Bentley S 1 was the long-awaited successor to the Bentley MK VI and R-Type. Bentley retained the high-torque, robust and reliable six-cylinder engine amd paired this with an automatic transmission. With revised brakes, suspension and power steering, luxurious driving and travel was redefined. The body resting on the frame grew in size and gave the series its classic and prestigious appearance. Unlike the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, however, this Bentley appeared a bit sporty and restrained. Because of its solid engineering, the more fuel-efficient early Bentley and Rolls-Royce models of this series are particularly popular today.This late, left-steered Bentley S1 was delivered as a new car to the United States. The saloon was restored a long time ago and rarely but regularly moved ever since. Slightly patinated in the interior but with new leather, the classic car in this color combination still looks gigantic and can be moved remarkably light-footed. You’ll rarely get a more luxurious and charismatic car at a more attractive price than this.
