Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas presents a timeless icon of American muscle car heritage: the 1970 Dodge Challenger. This particular model, resplendent in striking Orange metallic exterior paintwork, epitomizes the bold and aggressive styling that made the Challenger an instant classic. Complementing its eye-catching exterior is a sophisticated brown interior, designed to provide both comfort and a nostalgic nod to the golden era of muscle cars.

Although it lasted only five model years, the Dodge Challenger became one of the most storied muscle car nameplates in automotive history. The Dodge Challenger made its debut in the fall of 1969 as a 1970 model. While many enthusiasts have spent a lot of time and money to restore one to its original state, others have chosen to take the resto-mod route and infuse some modern blood into this legendary model. With a full refresh in 2013, this Challenger has been given a lot of love in all the right places. The Orange paint looks like it was applied over truly precious metal. The shine gives extra definition to the full-length body crease, and so it gives this coupe a true look that's equal parts fast and class. Complete with the aggressive sport hood with dual snorkels and hood pins and lanyards, rear exhaust with dual chrome tips on each side, a wicked R/T black and green side stripe, and that killer spoiler out back, there's little doubt that this looks the part of a race car. This stunning RT hits all the high notes with a 6.1-liter HEMI SRT8 crate motor that has been freshened up with aggressive-sounding long-tube headers a 2.5-inch Flowmaster exhaust and a BeCool aluminum radiator with two electric fans. A custom tubular front end with new rack and pinion steering and coil-over front suspension was done by Magnum Force Race Car Fabrication. Add in power steering, American Racing wheels with modern tires, and four-wheel disc brakes, and you know this resto-mod knows how to bring its power to the streets. The cabin features newly redone high-back bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in Brown vinyl along with a dash and door panels. Woodgrain trim extends from the dashboard to the center console and door panels, and features include a Lokar shifter, a Kenwood head unit with new speakers, power windows and cold blowing Vintage air conditioning. The deluxe walnut steering wheel sits on a Flaming River tilting column and frames AutoMeter instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a combination gauge with fuel level, oil pressure, water temperature and battery voltage, and a clock. If you are looking for a classic look Mopar with a modern feel, this car should definitely be at the top of your list!!

The 1970 Dodge Challenger was introduced during a time when muscle cars were at their peak of popularity. Dodge sought to create a vehicle that could rival the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro, and they succeeded spectacularly. With its aggressive stance, long hood, and short rear deck, the Challenger quickly became a favorite among car enthusiasts for both its aesthetics and performance capabilities.

Performance tires and power brakes contribute to the Challenger's superior handling and stopping power, making every drive an exhilarating experience. Power steering enhances maneuverability, ensuring precise control whether you're navigating tight city streets or cruising along the open highway. Additionally, power windows offer modern convenience, allowing for easy adjustment to suit your preferences.

A 1970 Dodge Challenger is more than just a car; it's a piece of automotive history. With its powerful engine, stylish design, and a suite of desirable features, it stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of classic American muscle cars. Don't miss the opportunity to own a piece of this legacy!
