Allmän beskrivning : 1957 Bentley S1 Continental Park Ward 2 door Coupe

A very Rare Park Ward 2 door coupe in simply gorgeous condition throughout. The car has covered just 84,000 KMs from new & has had an engine rebuild less then 2000 Kms ago.

The car is finished in beautiful metallic silver that was then Lacquered & polished by Consigno of Switzerland. Modern air conditioning has been discreetly fitted appropriately utilizing Rolls-Royce/Bentley Bulls Eye style chrome ventilation outlets. A larger radiator is fitted for enhance cooling on the Swiss Alpine passes. The car also benefits from having electonic ignition installed.

To the interior is pale grey leather in perfect order complimented by mirror polished burr walnut. New grey wool is used fro the headlining. Grey Carpets underfoot complete the ensemble.

This car drives impeccably & is beautiful throughout. Vast money has been spent on putting the car into tip top order. It formed part of a small collection which included a matching Park Ward Cabriolet that is also for sale with us.

1931 Bentley togs över British Central Equitable Förtroende som senare visade sig vara en front för Rolls-Royce Limited. Missnöjd med sin roll på Rolls-Royce, W.O. Bentley lämnade bolaget när hans kontrakt löpte ut 1935 vederbörligen gå Lagonda. Detta var i början av som i slutändan låta Bentley bilar blir bara badge-engineered Rolls-Royce.
