Manufactured by Ferrari in December 1974, chassis 18259 is very rare being one of the 58 righthand drive, UK delivered, cars produced; it was delivered to UK importer, Maranello Concessionaires, in January 1975 and first registered in the UK at the time. According to the copies of the build sheets and correspondence from Tony Willis of Maranello Concessionaires Archive, chassis 18259 is finished in its original colour scheme of Azzuro blue with a Nero hide interior and the engine number matches that of the factory records; the body number '253' located on the rear engine cover, front bonnet and door handles also match that of the factory records.  
Further correspondence in the file include a copy of the original order from HR Owen to Maranello Concessionaires Ltd. on 14th August 1974, a confirmation of the order from Ferrari in Modena on 9th September 1974 to Maranello Concessionaires and a copy of the original delivery letter on 2nd January 1975 detailing the purchase price of £9,765 and Ferrari records confirming the car was eventually destined for Singapore after its arrival in the UK.  

Current mileage is  unwarranted at less then 5000 miles with correspondence in the file alluding to this as being correct whilst not verified by supporting paperwork.  IN 1995 when sold to Paul Simon the car had covered just 1550 miles.  The car comes with a decent amount pf paperwork including some big bills from Brussels Ferrari dealer Spa Francorchamps in 2006 toatlling Euros 8,800.00
The car returned to the UK in the mid 1980s and purchased by British Hotelier and collector, Sonu Shivdasani. Chassis 18259 was in good company with a Ferrari 246GTS Dino, a 1973 Porsche 911RS, a Bentley S3 Radford and a further 365GT4 BB also in the collection.

The car spent a long time in Storage & was recommissioned at major expense by Prowess Racing for which the bills & a report are on file.  In the last couple of years the car has had a very high quality respray done in its original colour of Azzuro Blue & also had the seats recovered in full hide to replace the cloth inserts fitted to the car when new.  At the same time the mechanics were thoroughly gone through by Neal Lucas of Camberley in Surrey with an engine out overhaul including new valves to repalce those that were sticking.

The car is thus in tip top order throughout & absolutely ready for extended use.  It starts instantly & drives beautifully wanting for nothing.
