Ferrari F355 GTB F1 , Rosso Corsa over Tobacco, Full service hi 1997

Allmän beskrivning : We have unearthed a fantastic 1997 Ferrari F355 F1 Berlinetta, which initially was an Italian delivery. The F355 was the first Ferrari production car equipped with optional “flappy paddles”. The innovative electro-hydrolic steered transmission came straight out of Formula 1. The paddles are not only quicker to use compared to conventional manual transmission but also have the added benefit of not having to lift ones hands from the steering wheel when shifting gear. The F1 transmission is a rare option. Of the 4,871 F355’s produced only 1,042 came with F1 transmission, making this a desirable model for collectors. The transmission is not the only big attraction with this F355. The car has a wonderful combination finish of Rosso Corsa exteriorly with a Tobacco leather interior trim. It has beige carpets and a black leather covered dashboard. The interior is in tip-top condition with only minor signs of use. The quality of the finish is perfect, the fine straight bodywork is correctly aligned. All synthetic materials are also in great condition. Naturally the F355’s underbody is undamaged and rust-free. The mechanical aspects of the car have also been very well maintained. Recently, 200 km ago, a major service was carried out by the Dutch Ferrari importer with the €11.500 invoice included with the extensive documentation folder. The work carried out included new timing belt, new V-belt, new tension pulley, two new catalysts, new spark plugs, fluids, gaskets, bushes and pipes. During this service the valve lids were sandblasted and spray painted with wrinkle-red lacquer. The engine bay not only looks great but thanks to the recent maintenance it is in a picture of health. The overall condition of this Ferrari cannot be described anything other than as outstanding. There is an abundance of documentation including the car wallet with all the booklets and codes, many recent invoices as well as older ones from its time in Italy. In short; a very good Ferrari F355 F1 Berlinetta with much recent maintenance, a wonderful colour combination and a correct provenance.
