Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1970 Left Hand Drive Porsche 911s For Sale.
This Porsche 911 s benefits from being the 1970 model which includes the upgraded 2.2 litre 180bhp flat six engine. This further improved performance credentials of the model which already benefitted from Fuchs light alloy wheels and bigger brakes.
The S model also had a re-profiled camshaft, larger valves, better porting, higher compression and larger jets for the Weber carburettors, the maximum rpm was increased to 7300 and various upgrades were made to the Chassis.
This particular 911S was supplied new in Germany on 1st May 1970 by Porsche dealer Gottfried Schultz with optional extras including Sports Differntial, Sports Seats, Front bumper without horns, Automatic antenna with loud speaker kit, Comfort equiptment, coloured windows and power windows, all of which is verified in the Porsche Authenticity Certificate.
It remained under ownership of Mr Schultz until the 1990’s when it was purchased by a Dutch collector.The car was then finally imported into the UK in 2005 and now is beautifully on display in our showroom and ready for viewing.
The exterior is finished in the classic Porsche colour Weissgrau, the paintwork is in unmarked condition, any Concours judge would struggle to find fault with the finish!
Was it not for the protective coating the paint condition underneath would match that on top, the level of detail taken in restoring this 911 truly is astounding.
The engine is smooth and sweet, it is a pleasure driving along knowing such a well rebuilt engine is sitting behind you, and the quality is really felt through performance and road handling, the difficulty is not getting in this 911 but in fact after driving her convincing yourself to get out!
After seeing the quality on the exterior the attention to detail is definitely carried on inside as well, you merely have to glance at the stitching on the seats to see that this 911 was restored with a view of being the best. The interior is trimmed in Black Leatherette and Corduroy Inlays.
The boot (in the front) comes with a full set of tools an original jack and this allows room for luggage which even the most modern sports cars would not allow.
