This has resulted in a good looking, powerful car with great road going capabilities. The following list shows the massive transformation this BMW has undergone. Optical work: exterior: This “shadow line” Convertible has received a fresh coat of its original “Luxor Beige” paint. An original BMW “Pheba” bumper kit was mounted. The convertible soft top was replaced and the original 15 inch BBS rims where foreseen of new rubber. Interior: The original sports interior shows no significant signs of wear. The M-tech steering wheel was reupholstered, and the board computer is working and shows no faults. Of course, the period correct radio is present and in full working order. The real genius of this lovely 325i is to be found in the technical side. M-Automotive went above and beyond to bring this car above the level it ever came from the assembly line. Technical work: The engine was rebuilt from zero. Engine compartment: New bearing shells, piston rings, new timing belt, new water pump, new OEM camshaft, New distributor cap, viscous coupling, new distributor cap & rotor, power steering, ABS, New slave & master cylinder, new "Sachs" clutch kit, New crankshaft seal, New crankshaft roller. The gearbox and differential were completely overhauled. Suspension: New rubbers on the front and rear axle, Bilstein shock absorbers, and AC Schnitzer springs. To say the least “an impressive list”. The 3 series convertible was wildly popular in the eighties and is now one of the strongest rising stars in the old & young timer market.
