This 1937vehicle is genuine and has been certified as such by external Citroën Traction specialists. This therefore is not a replica!! All the important and original characteristics are present. She still has her original engine, chassis and bodywork; again this has been independently certified. It has had 5 previous owners. About 9 years ago the car underwent a full restoration of the highest quality. The bodywork has neatly fitting panels that are thin and finished with a good lacquer coating. There are some features used during the restoration that come from later models such as the seating and wheels. A few of the dashboard details have been altered (the clock has not been re-fitted). The car has the original small rear mudguards and the 8 cm wide running boards with all the original fittings. It has been executed in lovely Bordeaux red and black two-tone lacquer, a black linen hood and gorgeous red leather upholstery. A lovely authentic 1937 Citroën Traction 11 BL convertible

About Citroen
French industrialist André Citroën had been building arms for the French army during WWI by the end of the war he was left with great industrial facilities but no product for the post war market. In 1919 he founded Citroen that became the first mass-production car company outside the USA[3] and a pioneer of the modern marketing as well as factory backed services network. Mind you, even Eiffel Tower served as a billboard for Citroën from 1925 to 1934 -Mon Dieu, monsier!
